After a bit of a hiatus after the server move, ReBoot Mayhem has finally returned! Apologies for the site being offline for so long but all sorts of weird and whacky things happened along the way to our 'final' destination.

If you had been visiting the message boards you would have learned that we were having server issues with our prior host. This host had been our major host for the past 9.5 years which is pretty amazing but unfortunately things happen and the host lost interest in hosting sites and gave us a month to find a new host. I'd already been looking into other options at the time and was greatful to find a site that seems to (so far) suit the needs of the website. After moving, however, there were issues about updating and getting things re-organised here since there were different opportunities for the website.

One of these opportunities was to put a gallery onto the messageboards specifically aimed at fans. This would mean that if you were already a board member you would not have to re-sign up to get access to the gallery to submit your work. On top of that, I was also able to implement an add-on gallery for the main site which would primarily have screencaps from the series. You'll see this in the link above. At the moment I'm a long way behind in updating the screencaps and have only uploaded those that were previously on Pixelacious. If you are wondering what has happened to Pixelacious, well now its no longer needed so I've dropped the site.

The messageboards themselves - Edge of Beyond - have been live since the original transition across. This was because little needed to be done to them other than updating to any current versions and the addition of the gallery. However, about a month ago there was a suggestion made to expand the boards beyond ReBoot. This was mainly due to the lack of news and information in relation to what is currently happening with the series. Of course I needed to get permission from the major visitors of the site before making these changes since they're the ones who visit (almost) every day. The vote was in favour of making the changes, despite the sudden release of a teaser clip for the ReBoot movie (see link in news release above) I still went ahead and made the changes. The board is now expanded to include Game discussions, Anime discussions (which links back to my other website, Animay), Entertainment discussions and more. Its still a little on the quiet side but people are talking a little more than before! Not to say ReBoot is not a major player in the discussions, we just felt we needed the ability to keep the boards active while we wait to hear further news on the movie.

Now one final important note - downloads. At the moment I'm still working out how this will happen. I was a bit spoiled before with my own anonymous ftp account at my previous host, however it is not the same with this new host. It doesn't mean there will be no downloads (music videos, promo clips and other stuff) it just means that it'll be a while yet until I can figure out how to get them up there without causing any problems. So if you visit any of these pages - I think only one still has active downloads which are a test to see how it affects the server - don't worry if any of the downloads don't work, they are offline until further notice.
